Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Leads less complex improvement projects typically part-time or serves as a team member on more complex projects led by Black Belts.
Expected to complete at least 2 projects per year
The Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a professional who is well versed in the core to advanced elements of the Lean Six Sigma Methodology. One who leads improvement projects and / or serves as a team member as a part of more complex improvement projects lead by a Certified Black Belt, typically in a part-time role.
As a Green Belt, you will be capable of solving problems within your local span of control. Green Belts remain in their current positions applying Lean Six Sigma to their job environment. Green Belts usually address less complex problems than Black Belts and perform at least two projects per year. They may also be part of a Black Belt’s team, helping to complete the Black Belt’s project.
